Dave and Seb are two remarkable characters living a life less ordinary and sharing their discoveries along the way. For the first time, they have joined forces to inspire and invigorate audiences from Sydney to Brisbane and everywhere in between, from November 7 – 22.

Dave, professional adventurer, originally hails from England but has spent much of his life exploring Australia as a part of Expedition 1000, a series of 25 separate journeys of over 1,000 miles in length, each using a different form of non-motorised transport. So far, Dave has completed 3,618 miles (5,800km) on a skateboard and 1,540 miles (2,500kms) in a kayak. As a result of these remarkable feats, Dave hopes to raise a million pounds ($AU1.6 million) for the AV Foundation, a charity supporting rural communities in Africa, aiming to break the cycle of poverty for children through better education.

Seb isn’t a fan of the regular day job either and is currently making his way through a bucket list of ‘100 Things’ he must complete, ranging from a week of silence, through to marrying a stranger. For the past few years, Seb has been travelling the world, ticking items off the list and blogging as he goes, inspiring all who cross his path, as well as raising funds for Camp Quality who provide ‘fun therapy’ for children with cancer. The most recent item to be crossed off the list was ‘To Help a Complete Stranger’. Seb decided to help a young primary school student in Victoria, who was the victim of severe bullying, as so many young people are. He and Dave visited her school and spoke to the class, explaining exactly how uncool bullying is, genuinely making a difference and touching the hearts of all the little (and big) people in the room. Just another day at the office.

With attitudes like this, Jeep was thrilled to jump on board and be a part of something as important as the Hundreds and Thousands Tour. Dave and Seb are all about having fun and going anywhere, making the Jeep Patriot an ideal choice for their journey.

An ideal road tripper, the Patriot is roomy enough for the entire crew (including the surfboards/skateboards/kayaks), it’s got great fuel efficiency and performs on or off road, just as happy on the highway as it is on the beach. Most importantly, the Patriot is always ready, willing and able to Go Anywhere.
