f 134 rear main leaking still !

Hi all
after replacing my old and very solid rear main seal and replacing with a split new seal out of my "stock" and finally getting her running still leaking oil out of the bell housing
I did trim a little off the seal to make fit (yes wrong i know but .......) and was fitted with mtr and box in place
do i need to replace it again,which I now know how or is there another seal in there?
are they same as ???????? series ? landy ??????????? or just get one from aussie

If you had to trim it to get it to fit, I'd say it was the wrong seal !.......the correct 2 piece seal fits perfectly and just needs a couple of TINY spots of RTV. Even Jeep dealers only charge less than $30 for the usual $10 part- get another CORRECT one. It can be done with engine and tranny in situ.....but you need to lift vehicle high enough off the suspension as possible to remove the oil pan.
