ITEM:Modified 1978 CJ7 to SWAP for a another 4wd?
I'm at uni fulltime and need to streamline my finances...
I'm currently paying rego, insurance etc for both my CJ7 and my daily runner (Corolla) and that is becoming too much to handle financially, considering the amount of use my CJ has had in the past 6 months.
Looking to swap the CJ for some other four wheel drive thats more comfortable as a daily than a CJ7 of similar value, so I can get rid of the corolla and just have one lot of rego and that to pay and still have a forby.
The CJ7:
*No idea on the actual km's, odo shows about 60,000km, but it only goes up to 99,999km before going around? who knows.
*350 Chev on straight LPG (has a mild cam and gilmore drive)
*Quadratrac (Transfer case rebuilt about 5000km ago)
*American racing 15x10 rims
*Dick Cepek 33x14.5x15 mud/all terrain tyres (65% tread).
*Tan Bestop Supertop
*Black Gloss paint (has some surface rust bubbles in the paint coming through)
*Hard Top (paint is a bit scrappy, just bought it but havent done anything with it)
*Hard Doors (have recently bought them (with the hard top) and have painted them black to suit, but no clear coat done)
*Tan carpet and interior
*Pioneer head unit with 6.5 inch Boston Acoustic Splits
*Sport Seats (Recaro Style) OR (you can have some older style Stratos Seats yet to be mounted)
*Bestop rear seat (only plated as a 2 seater tho so I have taken it out)
*5 months rego, will pass pink slip again no issues as it passed blue slip in July last year.
