Does anyone tow a caravan with a sports petrol?

We're looking at spending at least 4 days per month touring WA and I'm inclined to go for an Aussie Swag Camper as I know my Jeep will tow it easily but my ever practical wife says a small caravan with toilet would be more convenient and practical as we would be spending 99% of our time on bitumen or good dirt roads.

I tow a Coromal Camper with mine. The camper is around 1500Kg loaded, and the Jeep does it easy, although it can get a bit thirsty, averaging 18.2l/100km when towing.
