Hi All,

Couldn't be away from the Jeep forums :) the XH was sold last November now today purchased a 2010 KK Petrol Sport ex Chrysler vehicle driven about 7k so far.

I did about 100 kays today and below is my feedback/experience so far that I wanted to share with you all.

1. Is it ok if I put premium fuel or the usual stuff is fine.
2. I'm expecting fuel economy to be 12-13L/100 for normal city/hwy driving.
3. No Gas Struts for the bonnet wow!
4. KK is made in US unlike the XH Commander which was made in Austria.
5. ECO mode -is it just a gimmick or does it make any difference in fuel economy.
6. Not bad build quality so far I can see.
7. Single disc MP3 CD/Radio which plays DVD Video Why?
8. 4 SP auto works fine
9. K&N Panel filter or the Mopar CAI kit or do nothing?

I'll put up another post in a few weeks with my driving experience.

Let me know if I need to watch out for anything.

Yes, this one is Black too, just need to update my sig.

cheers

Be careful if you use the second battery because the computer sytem is very sensible may give you trouble.

= =?! Really...

I stupidly used up the battery and car failed to start on the next day.

I called the NRMA and they replaced the battery for me.

Then the car works fine.

Did I made another stupid mistake- -?

About the DVD player:

I found it funny when I saw "DVD player" and there's no screen.

Well, it just means the player can read and play audio files on a DVD disc.

If I may ask ... why did you sell up your XH [5.7/4.7L V8 or CRD]? Were you downsizing?

Was the move to a KK intentional, did you consider any other car, Jeep or other make?

Thx

Hi Eksjay,

I sold the CRD Commander because my 3 year lease was coming to an end. I thoroughly enjoyed the 7 seater wagon. I've got a SRT8 now and loving this car too.

The Cherokee is for the misses, easy to put the kids in the back for school and shopping runs. I take to work sometimes and don't mind it at all.

The Commander was a great vehicle but too big for my wife to lug around to school car parks. The Cherokee size is just right IMHO.

hope it clarifies your question.
