JUST GOT SOME INFORMATION FROM A DEALER AND WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD CONFIRM HIS STATEMENTS. HE STATED THAT 4.10:1 GEARING ON 2012 RUBICON WILL NO LONGER BE AN OPTION IN AUST SPEC MODELS, IT WILL BE 3.21:1 M/TRANS OR 3.73:1 WITH THE A/TRANS FITTED ???

I HAVE HAD OTHER DEALERS SAY IT WILL HAVE 4.10:1 GEARING BUT AS AN OPTIONAL EXTRA ONLY ????? ANY INFORMATION WOULD APPRECIATED

Cant see why they would change from the US specs, the manual has the 4.1 and the auto has 3.73 with a no charge optional 4.1.

Someone will be able to chime in with correct info though, dont mean to sound negative toward the dealer, but half of them have no idea what a diff ratio even is.

I agree im in astonishment at how little they know, i would have thought if you were selling a product you would make it your job to know the finer details of what your selling, in turn passing on confidence to your client in all aspects of the product. :wall:

in the news section it stated that the rubicon comes with 4.11 gearing but you can option it to 3.73 if you wanted
