Just picked up this 96 XJ Sport with a heap of new after market parts for a good price. Wasnt planning on doing this but too good an offer to refuse.

Has 180k on the clock, warn rocksliders, 6.0 inch full traction lift kit with bilstien 5100 shocks partly installed, reflexxion bonnet, tracklander roof rack, scan guage II unit, uhf, donaldson air filter, airflow snorkle, after market throttle body not sure what it is exactly, uni chip, smart bar on the front, bushwhacker flares, dual battery set up and a previously installed 2inch tough dog lift kit. Most things are either new in box or not completely installed.

The plan is to get the lift finished and most likely run some 33's. Diffs will require some attention along with a host of other things but should be a good build.

Here is a pick the day i got it. I have taken to roof rack off as it didnt fit in my garage with it on and some parts are still in their box such as the bonnet and flares.

First thing is to get the engine going and first up is getting the air intake finished. An airflow snorkel has been partly installed but had a donaldson filter which i want to put back to the stock air box and also use the stock throttle body.

I got a 96 jeep (had a dash fire),so i will be stripping it down and using parts from that to get this one running.

Here is a pic of the air intake area as is, needing the air box and assocciated hoses installed. The pcm has also been moved which will be put back to the stock location.

Being new to jeeps, I would appreciate any advice that can be given to assist my build. So if anyone has some pointers im all ears and open to suggestions.

Thanks guys, looking forward to using the wealth of knowledge within this forum and hopefully meeting up with some jeep owners around Perth.
