2012 Western Australia Jeep Topless day drive May 20th
As part of the 5th Annual Worldwide Go Topless Day, we would like to invite ALL Jeep Owners in Perth to participate in our first Topless drive day. It's a day of celebrating Jeep love, Jeep spirit, and the sense of fun & adventure that comes with owning a Jeep.
The Plan
Meeting point will be John Hughes Jeep
1-9 Shepparton Road Victoria Park departing at 10.30 am
Travel to the Town ship of York for lunch (at your cost)
The Avon Pioneer Park has free BBQs, or of course many local restaurants to sample while you walk around town, keep in mind that there is something for everybody in York
Then return to Perth at your leisure.
This event is based on a true family day and a get together to bring all like minded Jeep enthusiasts together in a central location.
With getting with the spirit of the Go topless day Check out the Web Site www.allthingsjeep and order your Go topless top to wear at the outing (keep in mind it’s a USA web site so allow shipping time for orders)
So how about it, lets get out and have some fun and join the rest of the world on Go topless Jeep Day
P.S if you can’t take the top off that’s ok still join us for the fun, just reply to this link your interest and watch this site for more details leading up to the date

Being a Sunday it's not to bad, did'nt quite expect this many cars and it's a bit late now to make changes there's some grass areas and the bike shops car park across the road and out front of JJH dealer ship as well
Where just having to go with the flow
Yer Vic the fuel stations would of loved it if we all went to Albany .
You are right and with the right attitude you never know who would become a sponsor maybe even BP ;-) nothings impossible it just takes hard work. Look what we did in 3 weeks running out of room for the Jeeps at the meeting point :) who would have thought you can get that many people behind it. Best part it's only the 1st annual event and other business are already asking to get involved but obviously too late for this year. So I say bring on this Sunday :) and let's have a good day out.

I am not sure if this is already on the cards. But how about we also pass the hat around for a local charity?
I am not sure if this is already on the cards. But how about we also pass the hat around for a local charity?
This was definitely on the cards when I started looking at this 6 months ago and it was going to be the Cancer Society (topless day and Aussie sun, makes sense and cancer is in my family) but as I had no time to commit to this on my own I had to drop the event and the ideas.
So 3 weeks ago Davis got on board and it's back on the cards but we never expected to get these numbers so there was no point collecting a few dollars from a few Jeeps. We never thought that in a short time we could pull this together and have a great number of Jeeps attending!
I personally am all for it but also would like to get the Charity involved into the event from the start so next year we will have this all organized and will offer raffle tickets with all money going to the charity and all prizes donated by the sponsors.
As for this event, we can see how it goes when we get to York, we have a few things happening so the opportunity will be there to suggest a donation.
Cheers

I have been looking for an event to have the Cystic Fibrosis Assoc involved in as a bit of a fundraiser. It would be great to be a part of this to help promote CF awareness. We are members of the CFAWA and also the Heart Lung Transplant Assoc of WA. Would love to be involved in someway down the track. We owe a lot (including a life) and would like to be able give something back :)
See you on Sunday.

The 1st Go Topless Day WA was a great day! The turnout and efforts in the prepping the Jeeps was impressive. The tally was 50 Jeeps and 110 people! What a site to see i was in the middle of the convoy and as far as an eye could see it was Jeeps in the rear view and in the front! The weather was perfect and scoring 40+ parking spots in a row was a bonus. We collected $400 for the Cancer Society and thanks to the sponsors we gave away a lot of prizes. So thanks to all that supported the event. Hope to see you on the next years run. Cheers Vic n Sue

What a turn-out! At one stage, I was at the back of the long, long convoy stretching out in front of me - and a fantastic sight it was too.
Well done to the organisers for turning out such an event at short notice.
I don't want to contradict official figures but at one stage in York, I counted 38 Wranglers (33 JK's and 5 TJ's) along with about 10 other Jeeps of different models.
There were also some other Jeeps at the meet point who didn't make the trip to York.
I was very pleased to get a prize for my TJ - luckily Victor from BlacJackWelding musn't have been eligible (being a sponsor and all) with his TJ which is probably the best in the State.
But getting home and going through the sensational prize pack unearthed gear from SBR Offroad, BlackJackWelding, Jeep Concept Store Joondalup, ausjeepoffroad.com
- Thanks and hope I haven't missed any other generous sponsors.
The most fun I've had in the Jeep without getting it dirty (and keeping my clothes on  )
Here are a couple of pics of the Wranglers parked up in York - only managed 2 pics  The day just flew by before we were heading home.

To follow on from the Vman,
What a great “success” and without the support from the Jeep community an Event like this would not have happened. I would especially like to thanks all our Sponsors as without them it would not have been possible to have the fantastic prizes.
I would like to thank the people that assisted me in the arrangements in getting this together in a short time and to making this event run as smoothly as it did.

Great vid - spewin I missed it on telly but thanks for the link.
Vic and Davis, you may have missed your true calling - you both come across as true professionals on that footage.
