Is it alright if we buy them through the ebay listing you have up?
Just make an offer of $80
Then add a note that i'm from ausjeep JKsnorkel?
I'm just used to and comfortable with using ebay theese days (instant paypal), plus anything to boost my feedback :D
EDIT: i just noticed they only suit the petrol 3.8 litre right hand drive:confused:
Anything availible for us jk crd owners?

Cheers
Matt

These prices are website prices only for AJOR members only. We can't accept ebay offers of that price due to the fees we incur with ebay. We accept paypal on our website also.
We don't have any CRD snorkels at the moment though. They are a little more difficult to source due to the limited market for CRD.

Matt it's a knock-off of the AEV Snorkel even down to the AEV JK in the picture from the AEV website. The AEV one works with the CRD, this one will too.

Here's a pic of mine which is a CRD with a genuine AEV Snorkel.

Can you explain the differences between the linear low density polyethylene plastic that ORU use and the cross-linked polyethylene used by AEV?

I am not a chemist, but LLDPE is a low density polyethylene. This means it is thinner than a higher density PE so is lighter. Linear Low Density PE is however stronger and more punture resistant and has a better environmental stress cracking resistance than the standard Low density PE due to it's structure.

The cross linked or PEX is a higher density PE and is a strong/stiffer variation to a standard high density PE (HDPE).

Thanks for the order Dave. Will process your order this afternoon for delivery.

So, is there honestly a good chance these will fit the diesel? The original AEV fits the 3.8 and the CRD, and both airbox inlets look pretty similar......

I have spoken to our supplier and they have assured me that this snorkel does in fact fit both the 3.8 petrol and the 2.8 diesel.

Just had my ORU supplied snorkel fitted today. The installer (Creative Offroad Fabrications in Hoppers Crossing VIC) was quite impressed with the quality of the unit, and reckoned it fitted perfectly.

I've got an '07 JK CRD, so that's a definite yes for fitting to a diesel, and a big thumbs up for Outdoors R Us and Creative Offroad.

And here's a crappy photo.....

Does anyone have the tj one? Will I be able to make it work with a highline? Ive moved my fenders up 3" so can I just drill a hole 3" lower and still route the tube and everything?
Thanks.

Hello Motas,

I have one fitted to my Tj wrangler. Please send me some pics of your highline mods and I should be able to determine if it will fit your Tj.

Email address is sales@outdoorsrus.com.au

Thank you.
