Hi guys,
Quick question, does the brake diff lock on the KK activate in 4wd low or just 4wd auto?
Thanks

Good question! I think I understand them.... but I too wish to learn more about these features.

I recently read this article which helped clear up some details.... I believe in 4wd auto (High-Range) you have the Brake Lock Diff as well as other Brake and Engine Torque parts of Traction Control helping you out. Disabling the ESC via the dash button disables the latter but still leaves the BLD part on.

In 4WD Low only the BLD is activated so there is no need to turn off the ESC.

I've been pleasantly surprised just how well the BLD and traction systems have worked in my KK so far and and have seen it pull me through sections that my friends in their open-diffed vehicles with no traction control really struggled on. It's given my a lot of confidence in my car..... but of course some nice ARB Air-Lockers are on my long-term shopping list.

Oh and here's a link to that article
