ok, its been up for a week, the AUSJEEPOFFROAD.COM FORUM that is, and we have 54 members, gr8 hey.
you have prob noticed that i have been trying to work out some of the finer points of the interface to try and get things as organised as forums can get early in the piece, if i leave it too long it will be a hastle to have to try and clean up, and i dont want to lose any messages. i have closed the what do you want to see here forum as it was just cluttering and info can go ito general. i didnt delete it, just closed. ok for some queries
smile.gif do you all think that have specific forums for each model is necessary??
smile.gif is the update to the front end of this site forum worthwhile, ie are you guys goin to use it? i will be puttig up info such as when i post pictures you email me, charges that occur and when feature articles go up, so i guess i see it as valuable but do you??
smile.gif are there any suggestions?? are we all finding what we want, if i can fix or help i will....

Jimmy it's great. Many thanks. One small thing, though. Is there a button to take you to your first unread post in any thread, or any way of achieving that? (there may be one that I haven't found). Thanks, Rob

I think the number of users speaks for itself, 54 already. Its a good thing.
Possibly no need for individual forums for each model, but doesnt matter either way.

Great job. Is it possible to be notified by email when a posting has been replyed to. I have found this a very useful feature on other forums.

I think you can only get update emails when someone sends you a message, but i will look into it further.

When Extreme Jeep "died" we all - as in "we all" would have been well and truly stuffed if it wasn't for your hard work, perseverance and generally helping out a heap of people find another "home".
You may have had other thank you notes, but I would like to make this a BIG public THANK YOU!
For providing us with a new place to chat.
Well done. :D
I appreciate your efforts.

ok think someone was asking me at one stage about how to find out about peoples profiles, if you punch the rate button below the persons name you get their profile. not a real obvious spot, cant expect everything to be easy :D

Love the simple layout of the board - I always believed that was a big attraction on the other Aussie boards that have since departed.
You've done an awesome job getting it setup & running - kick back & enjoy it yourself too....
Another sincere "thankyou" for providing us with this facility.
If ever you're in Canberra, consider it my shout.

I'm always looking for the views of other Jeepers - this site is great. Word is spreading fast and I can see more Jeepers logging on in the future. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif You have done an awesome job. Congrats and thanks
Another very big thumbs up from Mexico.
I'm also extremely impressed with how many new members seem to have found this place (and so quickly) - seems a lot more than EJ MkII.
