Is this all working out people?

ok, its been up for a week, the AUSJEEPOFFROAD.COM FORUM that is, and we have 54 members, gr8 hey.

you have prob noticed that i have been trying to work out some of the finer points of the interface to try and get things as organised as forums can get early in the piece, if i leave it too long it will be a hastle to have to try and clean up, and i dont want to lose any messages. i have closed the what do you want to see here forum as it was just cluttering and info can go ito general. i didnt delete it, just closed. ok for some queries

smile.gif do you all think that have specific forums for each model is necessary??

smile.gif is the update to the front end of this site forum worthwhile, ie are you guys goin to use it? i will be puttig up info such as when i post pictures you email me, charges that occur and when feature articles go up, so i guess i see it as valuable but do you??

smile.gif are there any suggestions?? are we all finding what we want, if i can fix or help i will....

I think the number of users speaks for itself, 54 already. Its a good thing.
Possibly no need for individual forums for each model, but doesnt matter either way.

Great job. Is it possible to be notified by email when a posting has been replyed to. I have found this a very useful feature on other forums.

I think you can only get update emails when someone sends you a message, but i will look into it further.

You know the " show the topics from the last 45 days " thing... well i tried to change it in my personal profile to 2 days .... nothing... apart from that its working well keep up the good work.

When Extreme Jeep "died" we all - as in "we all" would have been well and truly stuffed if it wasn't for your hard work, perseverance and generally helping out a heap of people find another "home".

ok think someone was asking me at one stage about how to find out about peoples profiles, if you punch the rate button below the persons name you get their profile. not a real obvious spot, cant expect everything to be easy :D
