View Full Version : suspension creeks and growns Jimmyb 03-12-2002, 08:24 PM been getting lots of suspension noise lately, got the other half to rock the truck while i listened and round the rear leaves were squeaking heaps, some wd40 cleared that up, then found the front speings were squeaking also so sprayed around the top of the sping where it hits the spacer, also squeak now gone. Now i've got new front rotors and pads that won't stop squeaking!! brizXJ 04-12-2002, 10:02 AM JimmyB, not a good idea using WD40 on springs, it attracts dust and will make it heaps worse a bit later on, suggest you wash it out with degreaser and stick graphite powder in there, you can get it in a puffer pack from Repco.
