Hey all,
I was removing my old bumper bar and found this footy shaped thing behind it..??
I can only describe it as something from a toilet system. Its black, plastic, shaped like a footy. Its attached to a small cable/hose which runs throught the engine bay, throught the firewall and towards the air con.
What the hell is it??? graemlins/crazy.gif

Its an air tank for the air con and some other air operated switches. I remember my dad telling me about it when he got the bullbar fitted. I believe it works on a vacuum....
I sure there is someone with better knowledge of this item...

can i remove it?
Hi,
The small "toilet cistern" thing is the vacuum reservoir for the vacuum operating things on your Jeep. Eg: heater and aircon controls.
Used to maintain vacuum when under heavy throttle etc so the air con doesn't go bananas and freeze/cook you.
If you like sudden temp change up steep hills then remove it.
Cheers

Its the Reservoir for your vacuum system. If you romove it none of your heater vents will work at all. Look at it like a chamber for storing air preasure until you need to move somthing...ie vents.
