Dumb ass speedo gear question

My freindly neigbourhood aftermarket Jeep bits supplier has told me that I can't get a speedo gear to suit my 33" tyre & 3.07 gear ratio combo.....Could this be true?

I'm sure I have seen somewhere that you can get the right gear. I think it was 26 tooth from memory

Totally wrong. I have a 26 tooth speedo drive in my hands right now. Spot on when I ran 33 BFG AT with 3.07s. Keeping this one but I think Gordo will part with his now he has 4.56 - but your local Jeep dealer should be able to order you one - or USA4x4 or Sub

mmm, just as I thought.

My Jeep dealer wanted $75 for it and the tooth number skipped around the 26 tooth mark.
