soft top ripping

hey guys
has anybody had a similar problem
soft top is tearing where the plastic runners go into the soft top door guides.
small tear on both sides looking for a fix which would keep top looking as normal as possible
rest of the top in exellent condition

Hoppy,

Mine did the same. I got a fairly big needle and some fishing line and restiched it. Just try and get the needles through the exsisting holes in the plastic do-hicky thingy mabobber.

had the stitching on the rear quarter tear , tried dacron thread ..... tore again, think i'll try the fishing line.
