Just did a wheel bearing replacement on the FSJ today. So busy "doin it" I fergot to take photos and such like.
I will be doing the other side wheel bearings soon. I can do a pictorial of the hub/bearings/free wheelers/axle end - ad infinitum if there is interest.

IMHO we need a special tech section here to deal with repairs to the "older folk" (the Jeep you fool - not you!)

What do you think? Special thread???

Will we run a special thread? I suggest a "links only" type of thing so you will submit a site ex this forum to save space. Do your own web page and submit it.

Some of the future things I will be doing with the full size;
Winch plate and install winch
Dual batteries
Panel repair
2" body lift
Front Wheel bearings
Drive shafts uni replacement
360 engine swap.
(maybe a auto to manual g/box swap)
general maintainence works.....

your thoughts??????

If your an "Old Jeeper" like me 8)

Sounds like I may have started some thing here. Great! Lets get all the older Jeep enthusiasts posting their "how to do" stuff.
Not sure how many FSJ guys we have on board but the general strip and repair pics will usually give a good idea on how to repair the FSJ or the CJ. Lets face it - a hub is a hub....
Thanks for picking up on this. All I have to do is deliver some stuff to get it going!

Mate - Iv'e got my hands full with the TJ right now. It will be another week or so b4 I can get to the other side of the FSJ.
If the thread needs to be deleted, then I will do a page or two and we can link it.

Sorry 'bout that but if you look at the stuff we are doing to Lucky Lady Lil then you may get at least get some idea of what a suspension can have done to it...

cheers
