Need a snow drive somewhere. Seems a waste to have all that white stuff close by and don't get a wheel into it!
Suggesting the 24, Sunday and heading to Licola and up the Tamboritha Road to snow.
Chains not required, nor any entry fees. But it's a long drive for the day.
Anyone!
I can see Mt Baw Baw from my back gate and there was snow/ice down to 500mtrs on the hills today.....

About 1.5-2 hours past my place RB. Just past Licola.
Oh yer and I'll be there with the TJ FINALLY!!!!

well not much interest but if we can get one more vehicle perhaps could be good?
just spoke to mate dave, and he is arriving back in melb on thursday after couple years away and he is very keen to go for a drive on the weekend...
so were in....
anyone else?
I'll probably be able to get another 2 Jeeps so it should bo ok!!

I just spent last weekend up at Jamieson (with MJOC) and Mt Skene and so forth was great lots of snow and mud, most of the creeks and rivers were flowing too fast and deep to try some crossings, the Landcruiser club took half an hour to recover one of their tanks from a creek that they tried to cross. Carried chains but never used them
Im heading up to Bulla on Friday for some Snow Boarding .. and should be back late Sat.. providing im not in too much pain.. i should be able to tag along.

Dean - no chains required! Thats why we are going wher we are going. Mt Skene is a bit closer but way more difficult. Driveing beyond Licola is long but easier....
As I said. Meet in Warragul where we have Melb petrol prices OR meet at Moe maccas? Backto you. Guys coming out of Melbourne can arrange a spot to meet and journey up.

I will meet you guys on Sunday morning 1030 sharp at McDonalds in MOE. It's right on the Princes Highway - you can't miss it!
Bring your lunch and basic recovery gear including a spade or shovel. Warm clothing and sensible footwear.

So you melb guys will need to leave at about 9:00-9:15 to get to Moe by 1030.
My TJ will be a 99% starter for the day so hope to see you then , I might even hang out on the highway to wait for you to come past and hook up with ya's.

sorry guys, unfortuantly been sick as a dog past few days..
been home resting (watching tuff truck vids) but still not able to spend a full day concentrating on the road...

Well just chatting to the other guys and it looks like we'll be going to hava play at Neerim tomorrow, just 3 of us becuase RA and Rocksbite are big bloody wossiees!!
