It's the same weekend.. But I didn't think anyone was going as only Jeff replied to my post about it last week. Does it mean we won't get access if noone from the SJC shows up to the work day?
Also, isn't all Chrysler day on the 19th as well?

Jeffro,
Count me in on this one - for the winch, if nothing else
Meeting point? Time?
As for Chrysler Day - lucky we drive Jeeps
Meeting point is at the Zig Zag railway carpark at 9.00. So far we've got 7 takers.
Spanish steps working party did not get any volunteers, we couldnt find anyone with the skills they wanted. I'm pretty sure the working party is an ongoing project that we can get involved in later.
All Chrysler Day is also on for those who want to do a Show & Shine. There's some trophies in it if you do.

Is anyone meeting somewhere in Sydney to convoy it up? I'm not 100% sure where it is.
I'm going up on Saturday night to stay - booked a cabin at the Blackheath Caravan park. As for getting there, drive along the Great Western Highway and take the turn to the right marked 'Zig Zag Railway' - pretty sure the turnoff is at Mt Victoria.
btw Working party has been delayed until mid-november.
how ya going jef thanks for doing a
trip out had a lot of probs

Maddog to get there from sydney i go through Baulkham Hills to Windsor along Windsor rd. When you get to Windsor hook a left to richmond then, turn right at Richmond Maccas and the Bells line of Road will lead you the rest of the way to zig zag. Hope this helps

don't worry Camel, ill bust a tyre off the bead just for you. So how of us are coming Jeff?
uuuuhhhhhhh..... not too sure, the list of people was on my laptop, which died yesterday.
I think we are at about 10-12.
Thanks for a great day, we had a hell of a drive.
Today I learnt how to really scare myself while driving... hope someone got a few pics of my 'tippy' bit.
Also learnt:
That Newnes Mud is cunningly flat, and eats shoes!
That Patrols have crap break-over angles
That I should have worn sunscreen  - I've got a neck as red as Cletus!

Wat was the tippy moment?
How many of u guys did u end up with?
My tippy bit was when I went down the harder part of Range of Bob. The front right went into a very deep hole, and the Jeep went into some seesaw action... at about 50-60 degrees. Luckily some guy jumped on the rear bar and tipped us back.
We had 8 vehicles in total, 5 TJs, 1 XJ, 1 WJ & a stock Patrol.
Anyone got pics yet?
