Wedge Island mate, make sure its low tide tho. Also out to the wangara pines is good, nice and muddy. Not too serious but good to test the car and learn what its like

Appart from wedge island there are a few learner tracks at mundarring if you want to tackle those.

Keep a lookout for any trips happening here in Perth. We go out quite often to Mundarring, Brunswick Junction and Dewllingup.

You might want to at LEAST get 31" tyres before you start doing anything more intense and also a 1" Body Lift. Be aware that your insurance company may not like you after these mods. It all depends on how serious you are and how far you want to take your JEEP.

Byt the way...congrats on the purchase of a great 4wd :)

I'm in Woodlands. NOR. Near Innaloo. I suppose i'll do a hunt up to Wedge Island and Lancelin as soon as i can can get away from the office. (rant rant)

Thanks for the tips - tho I hope i don't get some natural pin-striping all the same. I've just got a brand new black wrangler. It freaks me out about scratching it. It'll change soon enough tho.

Hehehehe....I was like that too when i first drove my JEEP out of the showroom floor. But it only lasted about 1 month :D.

Then i said "fuck it..." That's what i bought this jeep for.

Welcome to the family. There is a good set of tracks along the coast from Wilbinga to Guilderton that is OK for a standard jeep. Only a couple of tricky sections. The track is listed in the 4 WD days out of perth publication available at your newagent. But with this one the beach section can be tricky. Not too bad for pin stripes either.

You shouldnt have too much trouble with scratches at Lancelin, lots of fun to be had!

Only thing to make sure is remember how to get out, theres a lot of land out there and a lot of fences it is easy to get lost.

If you get lost at Lancelin just head for the beach then you will know whereabouts you are.

If you have a problem with scratching it, make sure you invite someone like me with a J truck. We will pave the way............lol
