Hi, What are you prepared to spend for this type of Jeep? CJ Ray

Shackels Dude. My advise is consider a newer jeep, if spending $15 to $30k on an old cj scares you! But at the end of the day a Cj7 is as classic a machine right up there with old chevs & classics of that era. My cj7 owes me close to $40k but it's "NEVER" for sale (because i dont want to go through that again) hahah. Forget that wanker at Jeep city, He'll rip you off 100% gurranteed. Good luck with your adventure. CJ RAY.

looking to spend between 12 and 15K. There are plenty around for this price mainly interstate. As I will be spending a lot more getting the purchase price down to start with will help. I am not after the perfect CJ for that price as that is not realistic. I am just after a good jeep that has good "do up potential". Would love to spend more but just dont have it.

A birdy told me to PM Ian. Ian may have a new project on the go and his CJ maybe for sale and is well worth the trip....

Mate,

Don't mean to be nasty but I think it'll be more than your wanting to spend, but from what I've seen (got the DVD) and heard it'd be a good buy.

Thanks for confidence. It is a great jeep my concern is registering the thing in Sydney. If anyone has info on the pitfalls of registration, eng certs how it works please let me know.
