So I may come along and watch. TIGGER 16-07-2004, 08:24 AM just read the rules......if you have ARB's can you just leave them unlocked? maddog 16-07-2004, 08:30 AM Rules also say max 5" lift though, including both spring and body lifts. I'm over 6.5" combined. :( AussieCJ7 16-07-2004, 01:24 PM I was going to enter the CJ in stock class but I have other commitments that weekend Should be a good weekend though You should enter the CJ8 Martin billsta 17-07-2004, 12:43 AM mmm.... cool...i have 10 CD stacker  resident e 03-08-2004, 12:47 PM i mite give it ago, but it saids no limited slip diffs. but the tj comes with one so can u still enter. Willy 03-08-2004, 01:06 PM The Cherokee Club is heading down for this weekend and have about 6 Jeeps entered in the comp. Should be a fun weekend!! mattc 08-08-2004, 09:47 PM but it saids no limited slip diffs. I think is says no shimmed LSDs which as I understand means no modding the LSD to behave more like a locker. AJ 09-08-2004, 08:00 PM i'll be there, but only to watch. Want to see how the comp works. Should be a good weekend though. Penguin 4speed 10-08-2004, 08:55 AM Cherokee Club still going? I have'nt heard anything from anyone after the entry fee mix up Wooders 18-08-2004, 08:51 AM Last year the Jeeps cleaned up in this event - So it really would be good to see more there this year. Unfortunately I'm out of town  - or I'd enter the missus stocker volvo >:) ..... Anyhow go, compete, spectate & cheer.....Go the Jeeps :!: AussieCJ7 18-08-2004, 09:59 AM Last year the Jeeps cleaned up in this event - So it really would be good to see more there this year. Unfortunately I'm out of town  - or I'd enter the missus stocker volvo >:) ..... Anyhow go, compete, spectate & cheer.....Go the Jeeps :!: Not this one they didnt Wooders You are thinking the one held down near Goulburn this is the one at the Nissan trails site The one you are think of is on around about the 2nd week of Sept Wooders 18-08-2004, 10:59 AM Ops technically correct - but this comp is being run by a splinter of the same group and it's tagetting the same level (ie relatiovely stocker). Here's an email I recieved earlier today from them...... Sent: Wed Aug 18 03:07:49 2004 Received: Wed Aug 18 03:08:16 2004 From: Grant Phillips <ldausgrant@idx.com.au> To: gordon_everitt@yahoo.com sydneyjeepclub@optusnet.com.au wooders@optusnet.com.au Subject: CrawlerKhana 04 where are you Last year many of your club members attended the OffRoad4x4 ClubKhana and to quote Karen Mulquiney "I'm sure there will be heaps more Jeeps next year". Well after that event 1/2 of the OffRoad4x4 club walked out and formed the Oz Rock Crawlers due to how the money raised was not put back into next years event. So why this e-mail, well the OffRoad4x4 ClubKhana current members lack the experience to run an event and maybe that is why they have not secured an venue even though they had announced the event, collected entry fees and had to postponed the event until they can secure a venue. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Mannell Motors CrawlerKhana 04 a.. 9 ALL driving events, no need to get out of vehicle to build a stupid puzzle. We cater to physically impaired and less agile competitors, currently 1 amputee and 4 deaf competitors. b.. 1st and 2nd prize for every event for all 3 classes plus 2 overall winners, that's 56 trophies and prizes c.. See our website for the current list d.. 4WDTV are filming the event for TV and a video/dvd e.. Ride for Charity, ALL money collect will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Get to take a spin in Dobbin Engineering (current Tuff Truck Champion) as well as other big 4WD's and if you buy 3 ticked for $13 you get a free BigMac and a Coke (if Coke come on board) f.. Seperate male and female flushing toilets in the campground, what a plus for the women (flushing that is, although some bloke don't aim so well) g.. An event catering to standard and slightly modified 4WD's, so Wranglers would perform well So seeing that last year Karen Mulquiney, Wendy Guillaume, Corriene Karam, Will Parker, Paul Anderson, Fred Rahn, Geert Elzinga and Basil Alexander had so much fun and won HEAPS of prizes, I wonder why we have seen no entries from your clubs. Possibly you were not aware of our event. Not knowing their personal e-mail addresses could you pass on this e-mail for me as there is still time to get entries in. There is heaps of info and entry form on our website www.ozrockcrawlers.com Regards, Grant Phillips (Why I 4B - cause I can) President - Oz Rock Crawlers Mob: 0428 923 924 Office: 61 2 9153 8500 Wooders 18-08-2004, 11:05 AM So overlooking the obvious internal issues they might be dealing with - IMHO it is these type of events that are seriously in need of our support and it's these sorts of events that are enjoyable by all 4x4ers not just the howmuchmoneyhaveyougots ;) BTW they said that to participate you must be a member of a 4x4club (although not required to spectate)....if you are not a financial member of a club, they are offering provisional membership for $20...... Comeon Jeepers!!! **) AussieCJ7 18-08-2004, 11:55 AM damn politics kill clubs and sports 100% aggree we need more of these events and lots of them mattc 30-08-2004, 08:33 PM Anyone go?
