Should be interesting... Just sold my swampers and don't have time to get the mtr's put on the beads so 35" mtrs on blinger AR wheels it IS !!

At present don't have any steering but it shouldn't be a problem

Look forward to catching up with any AJORer's that make it. The Jeep convoy that invaded Jimna was way cool

went to invade yesterday in the gold chariot with my chaffeur; The "way cool AJOR convoy"
gordo seemed to be doing pretty well. 2 dnfs but the effort he put in to everything was huuge!
nice to see these guys having fun and prepared to have a laugh
i think a couple of cars clapped it, so definately no wooden spoon for gordo and pete :P
hope you guys pulled off a good result, you deserve it!!

Hey TJ was great to see u dudes and the JAA boys (thanks for the gingernut bikkies boys :)) out there.

The short goat report (if you're bored enuff to read it) -

19/25

2 dnfs (1 was 13 seconds)

Goatsack carnage :

rear shock res line ripped out and upper shock bush pooted out somewhere.

rear spring fell out about 5 times (held in eventually by zip ties)

rear bumpstop chewed and lost

both front flares busted in same round against dirt wall and boulder under diff (got a stage managers award for that one :))

mashed drag link and alloy tierod (bent back later with winch cable and towed out a bit with adjustment)

we were let down a bit by the unlocked mtrs (although no punctures or beads off) in the loose dirt.

first night stage took us 1.17min which we were rapt with. This still put us about 19th/25 for stage 1 as most times were 45sec+

Started sunday (2 stages) 2nd last (an improvement from round 1 where we were last) and we grabbed a few places with a really good run for our last one.

Laurie Sternbeck won again! Not a Jeep, but well driven and well prepared 3L turbo diesel Hilux. He now has 2 ARB lockers to sell (un-needed prize).
