September 24 - 25 Noojee “Adventurer” week end. Trip class 2-3
Trip Leaders: Christian Brealey and Kylie Andersen.
Meeting Location/Time: Packenham Maccas 0900 for a 0930 departure

This trip will cater for everyone in the club. We are planing to have an adventure NAV run on the Saturday
and then some fun 4wdriving on Sunday, either or both days can be attended.

Saturday: Meeting at Packenham Maccas, breakfast at Maccas for those of you who didn’t get time.
We will then head off to “The Berry Farm” in Drouin West for morning tea and a chance to pick some fresh off the stalk berries, after that we will head to “Piano Hill” cheese makers. I personally have to say these guys make some of the best cheese I have ever had, if possible we will then be journeying to the “Chilli Farm”. If numbers are right we can also dine in at the Chilli farm for lunch, the food is certainly worth the stop, this will be advised on the day when I get a good idea of numbers. Alternatively we will be heading towards Neerim South for a lunch and a stop at the Smoke house or the Neerim Pub, after that will be a visit to one of the local wineries for “supplies” for later that night ;) We will then move onto the Noojee trout farm, for those staying the night this is a perfect way to catch your dinner for the night. After this those not camping for the 4wdriving the next day will be able to head back home, those staying will then head off to the camp site near the fabled Toronga falls.

Also during the day you will be given a small navigational question and answer sheet, there will be a small prize at the end of the day for the winners.

Sunday: After we all wake up and have a good hearty breakfast we will head off into the crossover state forest for an easy to moderate day of 4wdriving, we will be looking to finish at 0330 so everyone has a good opportunity to get home and have a bit of a rest before Monday.

Love the pic of the trestle bridge.. I have been to it a couple of times before and for some reason I really like it.

Who is the idiot in the silver wrangler.. clown.

As I drove in my drive way last night the fan belt/serpentine belt (or whatever you chose to call it), sepearted into two pieces.. I think I will stick it on a Jeep assist truck and they can deal with it while I worry about moving.

Did you guys (Troods + Crossflow) go to Maccas on the way home ? I think we heard you on the radio.. small world.. lol.. We were in the wash bays behind mc donalds when we heard a male and female with english accents complaining about the rudeness of the guy a maccas..lol.. Everyone complains about that particular store..

LOL yeah that was us, we were actually complaining about some tosser in a land cruiser that nearly side swipped Troods as we were coming into Pakenham.

We used the car wash at Warragul otherwise we would have gone to the one at Maccas, you must have just missed as though as we both filed up at the BP and then went into maccas.

Your right though, bloody hopeless in there, took forever to get served

Yep, the drop in is steep, the exit is fairly steep. Allot of the water has been drained. I tried first gear, then second for more momentum to try and bounce it over the lip on the other side but the mud wall killed the revs in 2nd.. I couldnt get the momentum to quite get there.
