For those that have been to Denis's house, and seen the "Bark Ramp" its approx 35deg. Lots of marks on it from where people have driven up it, from Kj's through to Tj's and Cj's. Only one prob with it, its not high enough now...The AJOR CJ wanted to keep driving over it, shame there are trees in the way......pffft!

Gordo
21-11-2005, 01:55 PM
What a waste of a proper rope-drivers winch !

u just need one of those little suckas from supercheap to pull the nose down..kick it to me... the sack could use a date winch :)

lookin fully sik bro you fully hectic lairrrrrr :)

Jimmyb
21-11-2005, 05:45 PM
If that front winch was ever to go, I think Chook already has dibbs on it. At the end of the day I want the CJ to be self recoverable which is why it has the big mutha on the frunt!

How much oil are u running in your shocks?? full, 1" over??
Did u install a elec water pump or can the stock one handel it?

Jimmyb
22-11-2005, 05:56 PM
The shocks are currently running full, with approx 280psi, but looking at running 1" over with less pressure. That will all come into the testing stages.

Yeah install an inline electric pump as the standard one didnt cop it, even after installing a bleeder on the line. Expensive little item to buy, but hell does it move the water.

Jimmyb

but how did it feel off the beaten track ??

Jimmyb
28-11-2005, 12:00 PM
Was just a test section in the back yard, had a nice log that it drove up onto and along easily, the end of the log would have been about the same height as the tyres and it jus grabbed and up it went.

are we going to see it in action at werock next year ?

what events are you now aiming at jimmy ?

Fouros
29-11-2005, 07:16 AM
looking pretty sweet there JB

Jimmyb
29-11-2005, 10:37 AM
Aiming at all the rounds of Werock only at this stage, which is 5 events between March and August in both Qld and NSW. Also got big social outing end of January near Sydney. Might look at the final rounds of XRCC towards the end of the year after the Werock season is finished.

I think with the Werock rounds only being 4 weeks apart my time will be kept pretty tight.

Jimmyb
12-12-2005, 12:03 PM
Yeah we have done well, some finer points to still fix, but all in all I think Denis and myself should both be very proud of our first outing, as well as everyone else thats had a finger in the pie in the development and build of the CJ!

Jimmyb

yeah it was, got to the top of that section, but after that had to pull the pin due to over heating issues, will make it back definately. had texan drive in there as well, he parked as recovery if needed at the bottom of the face outta the way. for its first outting pretty damn impressed.

Texan

My 2 Y/O boy has been going nuts over the latest JAA magazine. Won't put it down.
Every page he points out all the TJs and says "Daddy's Jeep"
KJs and Military Jeeps get called "Jeep"
Unfortunately at this stage, XJs get "car"

BUT,
Every time he sees the little picture of Jimmy B's beast on the front cover he says "Ooohh, Monster Jeep"
and I just laugh and say "yes mate, it is a Monster Jeep"

Jimmyb
14-12-2005, 10:13 PM
