ok guys, We will be meeting at caltex at the bottom of green mount, entering the power lines at flynn road, go down there till west talbot road, then depending of the weather if it rains enough we will go and findsome mud in the talbot area. so probly go for about a 10:00 start from caltex, probly expect to get home by 4, but anyone can leave when they want.

No worries!!
I will be there at 9:45 :)
For anyone who doesnt know the area, there is a caltex on the left hand side, then just behind the caltex is a red rooster and a grassed area with a carpark.
I will park my TJ on the grassed area behind the red rooster (its close to the road).
Cheers Everyone,
See you all on sunday (will be good to meet some new jeep faces :))

Shouldn't be a problem.
On the powerlines you tackle what you can. If you don't want to, or cant, there are chicken tracks for anything you couldnt get a 2WD through.

Sweet...............do I need a CB radio??
Wallace
06-04-2006, 06:28 PM
Aztec mate, i will bring some hand held units - they arent exactly the best... but its better than not having anything!!
If anyone else has some hand held radios - it is probably worth bringing them along!
Breyten mate - how did the pits go?? The tyres serve you alright?

Well, Jeep decided to ROAD freight the parts, instead of overnight express.
Jeremy at Northern4wd is apparently not too happy about this. So the parts arrive tomorrow sometime. The work left wont take long. They call me, work ends for the day.
Get Jeep home, swap wheels, pits, Joondalup licensing, swap back.
Re-inspections on a Friday arvo.... I've had inspectors leaning on the fault and pass it then... :D
As for a CB... not required, but definately handy.
I have a iCom IC-400Pro mounted in the XJ.
