With all these lift upgrades being done does anyone have a quality set of standard shocks & springs (second hand) that they will part with for a cheap price. Canberra/Sydney region would be preferrable. I have xj96 and cant afford the quoted $3300 to replace standard gear.

I have some cheep reset to stock xj rear springs.

The $3300 price was from Pedders. I did one of those $14 - 28 point checks. I suspected shock wear as I was having body roll off-road and spring sag as it doesnt carrry a heavy load well. Otherwise it performs great. Pedders named every component needed replacing and Im sure made up a few. I have about $1000, and thats not enough for a decent 2" lift (please feel free to correct me) so I thought to replace with a fair set of stock and invest in good gear when Im financial. Pedders refused to do a 2" lift as it would affect the drive line - not what I understand from reading this forum???? Thanks everyone for the offers I am tempted and will go through them when I get a spare moment.
