I am replacing the shocks on my 2002 grand with Rancho RSXs,no problem removing the rear shocks but I am having a hell of a time trying to loosen the top nuts on both front shocks. Any hints/pointers :?:

Hi Roscoe i just put four Rancho RSX and Tough Dog coils on my 2000 grand , first prob was getting diff breather off top of passenger side shocker, bend up coat hanger did the trick. For the nuts on top of shocks, driver side small socket and small ring spanner but had to use rattle gun for passenger side. The Ranchos have nut on shaft much better idea.i needed four bolts for bottom of shocks as the factory bolts were part of the factory shocks. hope this helps

For the front shocks when turning the nut on top you turn the whole shock, hold the shocks with pliers as you undo the nut is what I did.
