somewhere muddy and slimy?....Heidi wants a sand trip....overnight trip to Wedge? elsewhere up/down the coast?

Personally Robyn and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed today....especially watching the braver of us push the limits on the rocks...VERY interesting...ive never seen rock crawling and find it a very tactful form of driving...next time ill step a little further out there but i think rock crawling is NOT my gig...im a mud man...at least you cant fall over in mud and you dont have to think like a chess game (call me a lazy Jeeper - think i fish the same way)

heres my fav pics of the day....thanks to everyone for coming...was glad to meet all you folks we havent met before and we hope you continue to join us in the future...lets do the next one SOON!!! Cheers, Roger & Robyn 8-)

PS...we are going to the Gymkhana next weekend (we are now thinking of camping there saturday nite) so if anyone wants to meet up let us know

somewhere muddy and slimy - down south maybe?
That sounds good! After the trip we get together at your place and Robyn can pressure wash all the TJ's, that will give her hands on experience for the future TJ purchase ;) .

you know...this is not a bad idea Vic...ive been meaning to teach Robyn how to use the pressure washer (who told u i have a new pressure washer?)...already taught her how to air up my tires....costs me time in the drivers seat tho, thus the new TJ purchase :monkey:

heres more pics plus there will be vids uploaded on U Tube over the next couple of days

note my edit below with pics

wedge sounds good, we were camping up there over the last long weekend.. hard to find a camping spot anywhere close to the actual wedge settlement though because apparently the rangers patrol it and camping is a no-no. we ended up camping about 16 kilometres south of cervantes.

we love our camping so we'd definately be in for any of these shinanigans, espicially when it warms up a little.

the muddy option for a day trip would probably be brunswick junction. not the best option for alot of people, but it's good fun and within an hour of perth. lots of deep mandatory creek crossings last time we were there, which isn't particually suitable for all those people who were paranoid about hydrolock today.. but it's probably dried up a little in the couple of months since we were there? good fun though, quite alot of mud, and hill climbs simular to today.

wedge camping is restricted to 1k south of the settlement in the dunes...where is brunswick jct? sounds interesting but prolly not for a day trip with the group...might run out there with yas one day?

brunswick junction is roughly 201.71 kilometres south of ocean reef.. down near harvey, before the turn off for collie, bit north of bunbury..

it would be suitable for alot of vehicles, just those who are willing to get their tyres wet :) as i said, alot of it has probably dried up by now so it won't be near as wet as it was when we went.

have a flick through these pictures to get an idea of what brunswick junction is all about..
