Dont know if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking to come across to this fine area of the world, but I am wondering if there is any local knowledge about a good camp site in the area?

We camped a Policeman's Point Caravan Park last time we went down there. Basic, but did the job.

Thanks for the reply. Basic is good. We were even thinking of staying in one of the 'non caravan park' options. Wondering if one camp site was better than any other.

Try the camp area at 42 mile crossing then. There is some good sand 4wding around there from memory.

Thanks very much for that advice HJ.
We stayed there for 2 nights before Easter and it was wonderful, but we found a better spot in the Canunda National Park. We stayed there over Easter and did some great sand driving down there.
All in all - a great trip to SA :)
