I hope some body can help me or put me onto some body who can.
I have a CJ5 serial 8305 179228.
I think its a 1964 model.May be its a combat 6??
Another plate says. Willys motors Australia. CJ5 1559
What years were jeeps made in Aust?
It came with aford 6cyl.Bore Warner G/B.Danna Transfere case.
A ribbed cluch housing.
The rear axles go through a drive plate.Not a flange axle type.
I also have another ford motor with a T90a G/B.Spicer transfere case & the bell housing has no ribs but has Dello cast on it which as I know is an Aussie after market adaptor plate maker.
Can any body tell me what I have.
Also i am looking for a specific manual & parts for it.
I am going to get it back in one peice & going & go from there.
Any help will be appreciated.

not sure when combat 6 motors started but i think around '66 till 70?. rear axle sounds like a dana 44 taper & key axle. engine parts are std ford,should be 170 or 188 from XR-XT Falcon?.parts manuals etc regularly pop up on e-bay for Combat 6. for parts talk to Hammonds in QLD.
