just broke my windscreen on my cj7 1983 model can anyone tell me how much this has just cost me & where to get a new one from,will any auto windscreen place stock them or am i just being to nieve:wall:

Windscreens O'brien. Was quoted $330 inc GST a couple of weeks ago. Includes new seal I think. Do you get a windscreen free on insurance?

no only got third party insurance as i can't find an insurance company to cover the mods

I payed about $240 to have one fitted at home by novus, I had my own new rubber.

O'brians quoted me 220 for the glass only fitted at home

i got prices obrians 220 fitted novus 240 fitted both with a two week wait for glass were we are we also have a small glass place that will do it tommorow for 220 & he will cut own auto glass to suit cheers for putting me in the right price range fellahs:D :D :D :D

i broke a windscreen in my KJ.. Obrians, Novus. etc all quoted in excess of $500... used "City Windscreens" here in Brisbane for an onsite, same day fitting at $165...Excellent service, and i have since found out that this mob are used by AlbionCJ for any work as well

are city glass open on satudays as i can make a day trip to brissie to visit friends and save 55 bucks getting windscreen done:cool:
