Some pics of my J20 bringing a Ivchenko AI-20K series 5 4,000 shp engine from and Antonov 12 cargo plane (Russian equivalent to a C130 Hercules) to the warehouse
It got some looks on the short 5km trip from the airport to my warehouse haha :-)

Which one JJ or the engine? I would be worried either way. ;)
Would be even funnier if the engine sparked as they took off....
Yeah I know not gonna happen, but.... **)

How much does that thing weigh?
javajeep

The engine weighs 1,020kg and the base frame must weigh another 100kg
Problem is that the engine is so long that all the weight was over the back axle
Wendaloo , if I was at the lights and gave it some gas it would probably wheelstand followed by a loud thunk and a turboprop engine in the middle of the road
Just ignore Darren (CJ7Merah) , he's going back to Oz soon as he has already gone a bit toppo :-) ... and hide your beer !

NOW PERMANENTLY ...
How the hell did you get it off.
Who buys an engine like that? What would they use it for?

Got it off with a forklift
The buyer was a Ukranian or Russian guy for use in their Antonov 12 cargo plane between Dubai and the Congo

Darren's heading back to Sydney permanently next week and because there's a few mods on his CJ7 it was going to be a real nightmare to get it imported into Oz so I ended up buying it last night
It's my 1st CJ7 !
p.s. Darren's going to be looking for a Jeep when he gets back , probably a Cherokee wagon or a TJ so innundate him with PMs ( CJ7merah)
CJ7? Are you sure you are going to be okay with something that modern? ;)

Its the first time I've had a CD player in 7 yrs of Jeep ownership , my other 3 jeeps don't even have AM radio
I reckon the CJ7 is still a real Jeep as you can hose and pressure blast the interior and the roof comes off
(the J20 is also definitely a real JEEP as it says so in 30cm high PRESSED STEEL not plastic letters on the tailgate)
