Well I cant believe its been another year since I did this last year.
Anyone that has a few hours free on Saturday (Eastern side of Melb) 8th and Sunday (Western side of Melb) 9th of December and wants to get into the xmas spirit by delivering chrissie trees for charity should come along. Depending where you live, depends what day you deliver the trees.

I did this last year in my TJ and managed to fit about 10 trees from memory.

Details (that I kindly borrowed from Mjoc's website).

.................................................. ..........................

Once again Oxfam asks for Drivers & Vehicles that can carry 8 to 25 freshly cut trees with or without a trailer for deliveries around Melbourne Saturday they meet in Blackburn (eastern suburbs) around 10 am.

Its easy everyone will be given a list of addresses close to each other so it wont take too long.
.................................................. ...........................................

So if you have nothing else on, want to decorate your jeep (or kindly have it decorated by fellow mjocers) then come along.

Hope to see some of you there
Cheers
Kat :-)

Well today I went out and bought a pile of purple tinsel for the TJ with the help of my mum as she is going to be my nav for the day. :D

Cant wait to tinsel the jeepie up and see you folks there.

This will be my mum's first jeep trip of any kind so I'm looking forward to her coming. She's happy that there will be no 4x4 involved. Need to work on this one folks!

Still have a week to buy more tinsel perhaps ;-)

Just wondering what time some of you jeepers are planning on getting to the xmas tree run? I just received an email saying you can now be there between 6am - 11am. I'm thinking around 7:30 - 8am to beat the heat and get it done early as I have other commitments later in the day.

Cheers
Kat

Jeepgirl I think (well, last time I looked on the MJOC site anyway) it was only you me and Peter Graham doing Saturday in the east, all the others were westies doing the run Sunday.
I think TW was planning on coming on Sat but havent heard what he decided.

I'd sort of plan to get there 10ish.
