Where are all the jeeps- jeepers (Perth)

Hey fellas, I've been living in a caravan in Kewdale for a bit over a month now, and the one thing I have noticed and am saddened by is the lack of jeeps, where are they? where are the wheeler hangouts? and one more jeep related question, were Jeep TJ or LJ unlimited's sold here, I havn't seen one since I got here. If I decided to stay here I'd like to buy one and put a half cab from america on it, like this.

hey mate -

there isnt really a "place" that people hang out. No - 4wd get togethers like in the USA.

If you want to meet up with people - this is the best place to be - plenty of trips around all the time.

The LJ was never released over here - only the new 4 door JK. Your best option is going to be a brute kit from AEV (which has a wheelbase stretch involved), but you will be up for some cash...

Your location is prob a big reason why you have not seen too many JEEP s down there.... More utes and airplanes down that way ;)


Well the JEEP scene is growing i reckon, every 2-3 weeks in winter there is mostly a trip on somewhere, in summer and over xmas lotsa people go away yad yad yad but heaps of us are keen to hang out and talk Jeeps ect..

Keep u're eye out for the W.A trip sections, always something going on,and if u wanna do something don't be shy to post up and put it out there!!!!!! There is usually a handful of keen one at the drop of a hat let alone a well planned trip :p

Hi there. I seem to be the opposite - since I bought my Jeep a few months back I seem to see them everywhere. I have joined the Jeep Owners Club and we have regular meetings, treks and social activities. There are several unlimiteds in the club as well as members with lots of knowledge and contacts. Joining a club will allow you to see the many varied Jeeps out there - both standard and modified. Hope this helps.
