The plan:

Camp at the Lake Brockman Tourist Park (no MAD MARY:shock: )


Directions: South Western Highway, 9km north of Harvey. Travel along Logue Brook Dam Road for 6.2km, turn left into Lake Brockman Caravan Park sign, follow the bitumen to camp.

Facilities: Toilet and shower blocks, wood BBQ, picnic tables with seats, power sites and cabins. $10 per person per night (that's for powered site)

We have booked a large powered camp spot from the Friday 29th of Feb to Monday 3rd of March, this site will accommodate a few tents or campers. You are welcome to join us for a day or the weekend.

Harvey tracks I know and depending on who is coming maybe some exploring.

see how I go. I prepped the rear axle up for the new diff truss and what not today - so that will be a breeze. The biggest thing i am "worried" about is the new tranny. just waiting on bits for that - then it will be a matter of days before its all back together.

It was easy;) with a bit of spotting you guys nailed the chicken track, so now that you have the certificate for "I mastered the Chicken track" you qualify for the next category "I am over the Chicken, bring it on daddy!!!":p

Well I made it home back in one piece (didn't death wobble so much on the way back, the secret? Probably all the knocks the steering received during the day and I also left the tyres at 16psi). I really dread death wobble.

Anyway, I enjoyed the day (thanks guys and girls) and managed to keep all four wheels on the ground, most of the time. Damage list: broken exhaust, even more mangled front bumper, LH rocker panel, trailer plug and lotsa scratches!

This time hitchhiker was conquered (twice!) by the almighty ZJ. And the ZJ managed to do 'grater' (correct name?) too.

Good to meet some new faces and new cars. Dave's almost stock diesel JK and Chris' stock TJ really impressed me. Awesome driving.

Just got home from today and it was awesome as usual. We done alot of k's with some new ones discovered. There was only 4 of us so we just went hard all day and the only drama was my car getting stuck on a rock wall and getting winched off (BTW i was not driving when it got stuck). Vic is an awesome guide and horse you are a mad driver but enjoyed the day in baby spice

Hey all thanks for a great time wheeling Saturday. Thanks Ken and Vic for seeing me into my Bday with a few drinks Friday night. I’m sure we all agree that Vic leads a damn awesome trip.
I was really impressed with Dave and the JK, Horse what can I say… I’m afraid of the places you’ll go once modified and Widodo as usual is never afraid of breakages and awesome to watch pilot his rig.
What more could a man want on his Bday than wheeling with a great crew of people. Wish I could have stayed longer and look forward to the next trip.

PS. Ken and Jude just give me a yell when you want to swap trailers. :)

What a good run!!! We covered stuff that I haven't done in a long time, found some new tracks that will be NICE in the wet:D .
It was really nice watching a stock TJ and JK maneuvering around the trickier stuff, well done Horse & Cambo76.
Dave, you are getting really good mate, maybe one day you will be spotting me;) , congrats on making the Hitchhiker all the way!!
The highlight for me was making it through the bottom of Rogers hill (right side with big rocks). I watched that spot for a while;) . Then to make it even better Widodo in his ZJ made it through with some matching passenger sills;) , sorry I tried to keep you off that bolder but it was just to tight.
Chris, I hate to think where you will take the Baby S**e;) after some mods.
Ant, your rig is sweet, good work mate. You need to come out again.
Troy, that was a classic moment when Kate reversed the JK right into that tree!!!:monkey: I thought the top of the tree was going to snap and fall through the roof;) . Ahh the memories.....

Yeah vicv have to admit that was classic and no damage ( lucky tyres there hey) and trust me scott and me have not stopped laughing about it since sunday and whenever shes near a tree or parked it's always "watch out for that treeeee" and Chris that comment will never be said by me again but can't vouch for anyone else. Just sucks bout the cd player but you get that and yeah awesome day and again vic thanks for having us and thats hopefully being done again before it closes BOOO!!!
