This page will serve to newbies asking questions about a wobbly steering or something not quite right. If yours looks like one these you definitely have problems.

Or it could be a list of people low in DNA, but before you say only in America, one of or own is guilty.

I know it all looks dodgey for 4wding, but a good friend of mine lived and worked over there for a year. He said there is alot of massive 'show' trucks cruising around, its just another style, or scene over there, big pickups, like f350s and chevs made to cruise the streets.

I know its not big over here, (but honestly i think that is only because of our laws that holt its progression)
American mini trucks (complete opposite of whats being talked about) used airbag, and hydrolics to get so low they sit on the ground. That picked up to be a pretty big scene in Australia really quickly, because airbag suspension could be engineered. It is now getting harder to do.

MY POINT. We dont see that over here, but if our laws were similar to America, i bet there would be a whole new scene of blokes with Sky High (and completely useless) trucks, made only for the 'wanker' effect to cruise the streets.
So rather than look at it from a 4wd perspective, see it as another way that someone else enjoys modifying their vehical. (As people have said, definately not safe to drive off road, but cruising around the streets, or on or off a truck to a show cant be all that dangerous. Its not how i would waste my money doing a truck, or probably anyone on this site, but if everyone did the same thing, it would be pretty boring, and websites like Ausjeep and others would be around

my 2 or 3 cents :)

I think you've got that the wrong way round...

I wouldn't care what it is like offroad, quite frankly I'm sure it will serve its purpose.

However, on road that thing would be a nightmare to drive around, hence more likely to crash, roll, or just be noticed by everyone - therefore reinforcing the stereotype that 4wd owners are idiots.

IF we don't see that over here, then why is there a guy trying to sell some junk just like that on Ebay right now in Qld. And how many vehicles here HAVE been properly engineered? I'm guessing a rather small percentage to what is actually on the roads.

I don't know what part of the USA your friend stayed, but I know w-a-y to many people with built trucks over there that are built properly and have responsible owners who do the correct thing than do garbage builds like that shown in the link.
