All MJOC training is free for members(except first aid) ...too do advanced must have done basic training ..which is also free

has both theory and 8 hours of driver training (certificate)

4 x 4-door JK's...only 3 participating tho! Looks like we are taking over MJOC!

Was a great day....slippery as hell! As you can see from the mud on my car, i did try to get up every hill...but the steep long one was impossible!

Hiya Maz, I think you are supposed to do the Basic training before doing a trip.

To join MJOC trips (other than E grade) you need to have a cert from another club/driver training session. Otherwise attend MJOC Basic training, free to members and run under 4WDVIC guidelines. You can then go on to do Advanced and Trip Leader training.

So if I was to join the MJOC and come on the Neerim Nasty weekend would I have to do a training weekend before the trip or will they make an allowance if I wanted to go on the A + B grade tracks?

Wash off that mud quickly or the stuff sticks like poo on a blanket, if you follow the Neerim Nasty Thread all will be told of requirements.

Stop stuffin around part over with your money and join do the training and get out and have fun!

Haha...very true!!

I think i spent about $25 and 45 minutes trying to get it all off the next day! I am still finding bits dropping off the underneath now!

Joining MJOC is a investment towards yourself and the care and attention of your Jeep.
I would be there at the courses again but I am of to the Cape so they clash.
A Person never knows everthing about 4x4ing, I learn and enjoy my time with club (not a lot I know) but from October it will be all different and I WILL be getting involved.
