A bit of feed back for all, for those who know me I have been working over the past year on our build up of the Cherokee. We know have 19.5 at the front and 19 at the back. See five leaf build up below

This month it was time to replace the tyres. I have been running Goodyear MTRs, 235X75X15 and they have lasted well till the last 4mm when they have started to show cracks, and wear less evenly. Time for a new set, trouble is Wranglers have got rather expensive here. I spent time digging around and looked at all the usual possibities BFGs, etc, and then I came a cross a company bringing in Maxxis tryes.

Reviews of the Trepador seem positive, and the pics looked good. I took the plunge, and had the 30X75X15 fitted today by John and the team down at KwikFit Dover.

They are not quite as knobbly as the Maxxis web site would suggest, and I have taken some pictures for those considering this tyre. I will give you some more info in a couple of weeks time, when it muddy here :)

so what you're saying is, radial trepadors don't crush as effectively as bias ply?

lol correct but the do crush things extremely well they are and 10 times better to drive on the road though . cant beat bias treps for crushing things though

Part of the reason for putting this up was to let any potenial owners have some non US feed back see OffRoaders (http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/Maxxis_Trepador_Radial.htm), and bearing in mind this is a daily driver I did not want bias ply. Thanks Chief and Flexi for your posts

I drove on the motorway yesterday, they were quieter than the MTRs, and and the TracEdge when I had them. They are a slightly softer compound from what I can see. When off road they kick up the bull dust well. Storms this week offroad whole of next week :) Let you know

Anyway here are some pics, sorry about the quailty.
