i dont think the lift will be in then. got bigger tyres so that helps a bit though

Wish I could come but I don't think a completely stock 4 Door JK will be capapble enough for that terrain. Especially since it's our daily driver and only vehicle :(

I took my stock JK 2-door over all of those tracks. Just disconnect the front sway-bars. There are chicken tracks in most places (depending on where you go) and especially around the two spots I used the lockers. The only damage to mine was bashing in the end of the exhaust pipe down Hitchhiker. Easy fixed with a grinder.

CrazyNuts, where is the old trusted Yellow TJ with 35's when you need it? ;). I think you would know most of the tracks down there and I know the risk of taking your only transport down some of the tracks (I do it all the time, with no...:wall: .....i better not say it!!!). Maybe fathers day and Christmas will be good to your JK!!!:D

Great pics Mark. We had Vic's job, spotting & running up & down! Only had to use the winch 3 times too. It was a great day out with plenty of action & not too much damage.

Aaron, Dave, what bead locks are you guys running? and can they be used on alloys? On Sunday I discovered a flat tyre due to a handful of mud and rock being forced into my bead breaking the seal on my front wheel. I'm considering them as part of my purchase of new tyres (I have traction envy after the weekend).

I hit my rear bumper and scraped a flare but I have a small excess and no claim bonus protection so I'll be getting a steel bumper at the back subsidised by my insurance company. Spewing I didnt break more :D.

Hi Toby, Aaron, Dave, Ken and myself are running the Staun internal bead-locks. I think you can use them on any rim.

Hi Guys,

Well I'm back at work today, been sick ever since Saturday night. Think something must have bitten me down in Harvey.

Thanks to everyone that came on the trip I had a really great day, I can now proudly say I'm part of an exclusive club…the "I rolled it club". Damage? What damage, I was very lucky. Virtually no damage to speak of..except I lost all my ice out of the esky and a whole pack of perfectly good salt & vinegar crisps :P

Thanks to Jack & Jill for camping and looking after me, we had a good night with a couple of quiet ones around the camp fire.

Love all the photo's! I'll sort thru mine soon and post them up.
