Destination is a place called "Old Port Bridge" via the Blue lake , this trip ends with a geocache, this geocache needs 4wds to access it, the geocache website says the track is tricky and 3 out of 5 on a scale of difficulty 5 being the hardest, should be very scenic and well worth a drive with a surprise at the end:p , as we are the leaders this time either 11th or 12th is ok by us whatever the majority would like ,anybody that would like to view the geocache site see attachment, hope we get a good size group ,cheers BrettnJules http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx?lat=-41.15803&lng=146.25995

If every one else can indicate on here their prefered day ,then the decision can be made a few days before hand and times then can be arranged .

Does the track have big holes or drops, seeing if l bring my child Well i have never done this track, all i know is in Jan this year it was a challenge and some of the vehicles used thier winches, could be interesting , as always i can guarantee there will be nothing damaging, so the answer to your question is i am not sure.

We have decided to have this trip on SATURDAY 11th October .
we will be meeting at the Launceston KMart at 9am ,leaving not long after (say 9.15)
please bring your lunch etc as I am unsure about what shops we will pass on the way .
hope to see you all on the day and get the "Jeep thing" happening again

Yes Blue lake up Gladstone way is correct , soz about the link , the link was designed to show what geocaching is all about and if you follow the map to the northeast of tas and look for geocache "old port bridge" you will see coordinates for the trip, soz i should of explained clearer, for Brians info kept this geocache away from the ocean so as his gps doesnt send us 100m out to sea ...lol **)

Every body had a great time,the track had a few challenges and seeing Chumby in the mud was a sight to see !!!
