I have a 2" lift on my XJ TD but wished i'd payed out for a 3' OR 4' lift now. Anyone know if there is a cheap and easy way of getting that extra inch other than getting the whole thing re-done?

Lift blocks for the rear and coil spaces for the front., think you could make your own if you were really broke.

No I am sorry totally disagree with lift blocks in the rear of XJ's (amount of issues resulting from spring perch rolling). Get yourself 3" longer shackles, this will give you approx 1.5" of actual lift in the rear plus your rear leaves will actually work correctly.

Coil spacers in the front, yes do it!

What lift ve you got now and what components have been replaced? Often it's quite possible for a 2" lift to be a good base to go higher just by adding and upgrading stock parts.

First up if you havn't done a SYE i wouldnt go past 3.5". Now lets say your 2" lift was raised coils in the front, full leaves in the back and longer travel shocks. I would recommend going a 2-3" extended shackle on the back to give 1-1.5" of lift and to improve the pinion angle and hopefully prevent vibrations. In the front just get a 1" or 30mm coil soacer and you can just relocate the panhard/track bar by re-drilling the mounting hole and moving it over. I think Go-Jeep did a write up on his website.

Now technically you should do something about castor correction around this height so some adjustable control arms would be ideal but i ran an extra 30mm on my XJ without changine wheel alighnment and it didnt make hardly any differance.

Hope that helps, Ben
