View Full Version : How many km's out of a tank 4:56 and 33's rocsolid 10-08-2009, 11:11 PM Hi all, just put in 4:56's. How many km's do any of you get out of a tank. I'm running 33"s and i have TJ. Jeepology 11-08-2009, 06:47 AM I get around 370 but I don't drive conservatively but that said I must have plenty of fuel in the tank as I can never get more than 63L in from what is apparently empty. 6 speed, 33's and 4:56. Have you done your speedo gear? Rodgebone 11-08-2009, 09:40 AM we got around 350 with a five speed and a caravan in tow from melbourne to perth and still had some in reserve - at one point we forgot to fuel up in port lincoln coming back across the nullarbor and managed to go about 100km after the fuel light came on so that tank got us 450 roughly . Aaronsjeep 11-08-2009, 09:53 AM recent trip to melbourne (i run 35s amd 4.56- so you should get slightly better) sitting on 100-110, got approx 13.5 L per 100km over the trip.. so up to 400kms per tank. ShortBlack 11-08-2009, 11:00 AM suspect you may get slightly better economy with 35" & 4.56:1 as opposed to 33" & 4.56:1 as you will be running slightly lower revs. Even though you have more rolling mass to get started for around town id think on the hyw still should be better. when i ran 4.88:1 with 35" i was getting about 12.5- 13.5lt per 100k with 4.56:1 i get 11.7 - 12.8lt per 100k At hwy speeds rpm dropped by aprox 200rpm ASH79 11-08-2009, 09:54 PM I get around 400 - 450km per tank on average. 4.56 & 33's mud terrains ;) rocsolid 11-08-2009, 11:13 PM I'm put in mark's adapter tyre match box to sort out the speedo. Its all most as the same as the superlift ones you can get from the states. Thanks heaps for the feed back guys.:) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2013, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
