I'm like a bloody yo yo.. I changed my mind.. I got thinking about how much fun I would have had with the SCX10 and modding it to something different. So I've changed my order to the SCX10 TR.. :hammer:

Well of all RTR kits I'm glad you got that one! You'll love it!
There's an "Alloy Upgrade Kit" for it you can get to turn it into pretty much the SCX10 Honcho, pretty cheap from memory too.
Cant wait to see the action shots!

LOL.. yes I'm looking forward to getting it. It should arrive today or tomorrow.
The upgrade kit is about $90 on ebay (I've been looking  ), however 1st will be a better motor.
I just bought these.... not sure what the things are in the last photo but I'd say they will come with the wheels.
Size: 2.2

How funny's that, the fella from Crawl Pit :). Apparently they are about 5" tall.. hope they fit OK
Oh.. OK. I was hoping that it was an optional item. Not too keen on so much bright blue.

5 inches is about what mine are and you could probably use the standard axle nut and leave the blue ones off.

2.2's might be a bit big to keep it scalish looking... i have the white sedona on my crawler which are just over 5" and are bloody huge. you would want something around the 1.9 size

I think it comes with 1.9's (at least that what I think).. I think TJ's look scale with 37s so this should looks scale with 2.2's LOL :)
The bloke in QLD that I was getting the SCX10 from called me today to say he'd received the wrong RC :wall:
Anyway he's refunded me the dosh and I'm waiting a reply from a bloke on New Jersey to get his pay pal details. He's going to sell and post to me for $400 AUD.

If they are 5" tall and it's 1/10th scale then the 2.2's will look like 50's!!! 1.9's are closer to a 36" or 37" ;)
Cheers
Steve

50's...... LOL
If they look like crap I'll chuck them on ebay. It's looking like it may be another week till I get the rig to see for myself.
Well... to cut a long story short I bought my SCX10 on Sat from RC Hobbies (Parramatta Rd).
Very noice :p ... battery wont come till July.
Got to show you my 1st flex test LOL, it rocks. I can't get over how good this is.. so many good working parts.
What's interesting is there are lots of extra bit that came with it? Not sure what they are for.. but I do remember something about being able to change it from a 3 link to a 4 link suspension.

Yep, looks like it does in the photo but it has the leads to pug into the plugs in the truck. So no mucking around with solder, it cost $29 + postage from Melbourne. Ultimate Action Toys PH: 03 - 5976 1607 they also have an ebay store.
I got the battery from Steve - Go Hard Hobbies.
