If it's a lwb patrol hope it's got a lift, other wise have the snatch out from the start.

The patrol has a good lift on it with 35s,
has anyone been on the watagans track lately, since the rain a couple of a weeks ago.
I'm a bit worried it's going to be to muddy and slippery.

Any opinions

I do, that's link that was posted is my track from a few
months ago.

The first bit is only hard if you got a long wheel base. The jk unlimited where standard height got stuck on it's belly a few times.

Schalky..... I have been stuck in that exact same hole...not too sure about your snatch anchor point though.....

Gotta agree with JR....it's always muddy up in there

I've had a look @ the map & I know these road well
drury ln is tough when dry due to the big ruts right up the middle
when wet well we all know what red clay is like very slippery
the loop off of Yambo forest rd is tight & has lots of drainage humps just perfect for a lwb to get hung up ot needing to do 3 point turns between the trees
Lemon tree road is quite easy when dry I did it in 2wd in the terracan with 6" lift & 32"s when wet it can be either heaps fun or a total nightmare.

there are heaps of real hard tracks in this area of the wato's you just gotta do a bit of exploring especially between Lemontree rd & boundary rd.

the tracks up there atm even the easy ones will be very muddy though the sun has been out for a day & a 1/2
