Folks i'm chasing some Keith Black pistons.. Supply in Australia is pathetically limited and I'm extremely frustrated with the usual "i'll get back to you within the hour" response.
Does anyone know of a reputable supplier here in Aus that I can try?
I can order from the U.S. from a few suppliers but i'm trying to avoid that option wherever possible.

I need +.0060" overbore pistons with a 1.353" pin height and a 21cc dish to suit my stroker.. Keith Black seem to be the only ones suited to the build and are also forged where others are hypereutectic
Thanks for the link, i'm yet to try pentastarparts, I'm already waiting for BlueStarSpares to get back to me. Will try hemiperformance again on Monday but I can never get through
have you tried vpw or rocket industries?

Not worth the time and hassle to get them in Oz, get them direct and it will also likely save you duty and GST.
Have a look at Doms Stroker build thread and try the suppliers he used, they will at least know what you are talking about!
G'day again Gildo - it's funny the places we turn up!!
With the pin height MOPUD's listed there I'd be guessing he's doing a long-rod stroker (4.0 rods) - the 1.3xx pin height is to soak up some of that extra length (MOPUD - ??)
My build was a bit simpler. I used the shorter 4.2 rods and a standard pin height - don't have the exact number handy but 1.5xx somewhere.
As I stuck with std pin height I had a wider range of pistons to choose from - mine were 0.030" overbore Sealed Power H802CP30 hypereutectics from Rockauto in the US and I had great service.
Not sure if it helps but I had a good machine shop re-dish my pistons to get the CR where I wanted it. I suppose if no luck finding KB then go for the desired pin height and mill out for the correct dish?

Dom, spot on mate i'm going with the longer rods as I'm re-using them from my existing 4.0L.
Thanks smashed but those pistons are of the incorrect pin height as they are meant to be matched to the shorter 4.2L rods.
I have thought about getting some custom work done on the pistons and/or different rods but time is of the essence for me at the moment and i've got to get this car running as soon as I can. Off the shelf products to suit my build are a big must at this point!
