Hey Slippery awesome looking jeep! mine looks almost exactly the same im running the JK rims and just fitted 285s yesterday. What if any spacers are you using? your wheels dont seem to be sticking out of the guards by the looks of your photos.

Thanks bud! was yours for sale recently? My mate wanted to buy it :)

On the front im running 1 inch hubcentric spacers, but the rims fit without any. I like the little bit of poke for front fender protection when in deep ruts

There aren't any spacers on the rear.

Started the hunt for my front end bearing noise, seems that neither of the front bearings have play in them from what I can see so the search continues!

Welcome to the forum!

Next time just cut through the rubber and outer steel ring using a reciprocating saw (careful not to hit the aluminium, I cut it a fraction short and hit the steel flange with a cold chisel to 'crack' the cut.), then it'll pop out with a few whacks.

I cut it out with a Hacksaw doing what you said. Cold chisel had it out soon after.

Had a bearing let go the other week be careful, i had no play and when it let go it was a handful to hold on to (nearly shook the car to pieces).
Once i got the old one out it seemed ok expect for a faint notch while turning it.

Spent the last hour looking for the engine number on my CRD for a Blue slip tomorrow.
Cant find jack and Google is not very helpful.
Anybody know where the hell it is?
