Read the Coopers warranty, my understanding is it is only valid for city driving:!:
Quote:

Why is the Mileage Warranty only available in Capital Cities? The reason the mileage warranty is only available in capital cities is due to the fact that most road surfaces in capital cities are similar. Whereas in Country areas, the road conditions vary dramatically. Even sealed surfaces vary from area to area. The mileage you obtain in a country area may be less due to these conditions however the life expectancy of your Coopers compared to many other brands in the same conditions should be greater.

WK2 Off Road Tyres

I've been running BFG AT's LT265/65/18 for 30,000km now still more than half tread left, a but noisier on road, good off road even in mud, and they still fit in the spare wheel well!

Re: WK2 Off Road Tyres

I think scarps is are muddies. I reckon the BFG AT's are the best AT tyres but there's still a big difference between it and an MT in terms of performance on track. I have a mate who actually got rid of them and upgraded to a set of muddies and what a difference it made on the same tracks.

WK2 Off Road Tyres

Thnx guys, more great info. Yes, really after the Mud Terrains so that when I do choose to go off road here locally, I'm the one doing the recovery as opposed to being recovered. (It's a Jeep v ToyoNissan thing) I don't do too much highway or city driving, so having the Mud Terrains on won't be an issue apart from the extra noise, however this is where the Mickey Thompson seem to be getting a good wrap. Low road noise.

Thnx Paul, I'm in discussion with Stu atm also re the lift kit. Dropped my WK2 off to Yankee Dave today for the 2nd proto fit of the bullbar.
Have measured the guard space pre the bar fit. Dave's going to measure the same space with the new winch bar on, after which I'll let Stu know so He can create the lift kit to suit.

The plan for Tax refund this year is winch & bar, lift kit and off road tyres.

I have been looking at BFG's AT 265/65/18. Would fit perfectly, maybe not the most aggressive but overall performance should be good.
Prices vary quite dramatically up to $550 a Tyre but you cane get them for $305 on eBay from Cornell tyres.
