no special "Jeep" wiring loom needed either

Just purchased my MY17 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and I'm looking at accessorising it over the next 12 months. I used to have some non LED lights (spot and spread) on my Prado 10 years ago and I know all the new LED lights are amazing but I'm curious on your thoughts on the lightbars.

Its basically a city vehicle but will be used for a few long touring trips in the next few years and I want some extra light power. For touring, how do the light bars perform by themselves? Is there enough throw or should I really go a couple of tradition lights (LED of course). Really just want something that gives me a bit of notice for wildlife in the dark, although I tend to not drive at night when touring.

I just purchased a STEDI ST3 single row light bar and I must say I'm impressed with its output. Just remember ADR's require any fitted accessory to not impose undue risk to pedestrians and not to hinder visibility. So mounting light on top of bull bars is running fowl of this. The fine (or fines) often cost more $ then the lights did.
