I had two tunes done to my jk diesel the first one was way over fueling.
Too much fuel I have heard is bad for diesels. Then I got the other tune done from a different guy. He told me the first guy didn't delete the egr like he said and it did run alot better and harder.the second tune. But even after the second tune it was never as smooth as not having a tune at all . I don't have a lot of faith in them So to all the people who think they have the egr delete. Do you really know it has. As I thought it was. Let's wait for a few more more details of actual failures before we start hypothesising.
Which is the whole point of the thread, to compare actual information I think we're going to want 8-10 failures before we can decide something is a trend. |
I have also added a request for aftermarket transmission cooler information to the original questions
