Thanks, guys. Appreciate the post. Haven't used a winch on any of my cars, but I'd like to set one of these Runva's up on my JK.

I bought one of Friday. Intend to take a few photos of taking it apart and greasing it and adding an in cab control.

Going to look at a winch compatible bull bar later this week. Any install pics you post would be most welcome. :)

I will post pics. Won't get winch until at least next week. Out of stock.

Just having a go at putting mine on and basically due to the ARB hawse fairlead adaptor, 2 of the 4 supplied M10 8.8 bolts used to attach the winch to the bar aren't long enough. I have 2 slightly longer M10 bolts that came with the bull bar, but they have a "B" stamped on top, not 8.8.

Can anyone tell me if these will be a decent substitute or do I really need to use 8.8 grade bolts?

Cheers

Is it just for the fairlead? Or the whole winch?

No! You must use at least 8.8!
This is all part of the load certification. In fact, I binned my 8.8 bolts and went 10.9.
